I am a mother to two sweet little girls, wife to my best friend, outdoor enthusiast, runner, artist and photographer. I grew up in the world of music and started my college career as a music education major before stumbling into a photography class and falling in love with film.
I picked up my first camera at the age of 10. it was a film Kodak Point and Shoot. Little did I know that this small camera would be the beginning of a lifelong pursuit to capture the world the way I see it.. raw, beautiful, unfiltered and authentic.
I am an ordinary Montana girl who has a heart for capturing authentic images.

I remember my first camera... it was a Kodak point and shoot that took 110 film, and when the roll was done, I would be so out of this world excited to get the film developed to see my masterpieces. Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a life long pursuit to capture the world the way I saw it. I was an artist in high school and ended up stumbling across photography in college when i took a photo course just to get a credit... and I FELL IN LOVE GUYS. I fell in love with film. I became obsessed with the process of creating an image. Fast forward a few years and here I am whole heartedly pursuing creating meaningful images for couples and families.
So much time and love goes into every session before it even begins...from the wardrobe choices, location, time of day and lastly the interactions created in families by allowing people to be just as they are. Chaotic or not, I love to tell every story. I love to help moms and dads to see the crazy beautiful family they have become.
I'm so lucky to live in such a beautiful state. An hour away from being tucked into some of the most beautiful mountains in this country.
Light helps create mood in images and is often used to evoke emotion.
family is the fire within my being. My kids and husband are my whole world.
